Official: Russia to support Ukraine’s initiative to resume flights

BELGRADE, Oct 14 (PRIME) -- Russia will support Ukraine’s initiative to resume flights between the countries, Valentina Matviyenko, speaker of the Federation Council, Russian parliament’s supreme chamber told reporters on Monday.

“If the decision to resume flights is taken, the answer will be positive,” Matviyenko said.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said earlier that a decision by Ukraine to stop flights to and from Russia was strange.
